with the standard software enable/disable and with the safety hardware
disable. If a malfunction is found Err26 or Err27 are generated. This
could be due to a malfunction of the 347888000 (347150) or to a
missing connection between J10 of the Control board and J5 of the U/S
and Diathermy driver.
Err 24: US enable/reading failure,
Err 25: US enable failure
The PULSAR
2
tests its capability to start/stop Ultrasound emission both
with the standard software enable/disable and with the safety hardware
disable. If a malfunction is found Err24 or Err25 are generated. This
could be due to a malfunction of the 347888000 (347150) or to a
missing connection between J10 of the Control board and J5 of the U/S
and Diathermy driver.
Err 09: Air pressure
The equipment compares preset sterile air injection pressure against
actual pressure. When a mismatch is found, Err09 is generated. This
could be due to a bent tube in the injection air circuit inside the
equipment, to a severe leakage in the air circuit/tank, to a broken air
pump/motor or to a malfunction in the air pressure sensor or in the
motor drive circuit.
Err 29: Watchdog failure
A watchdog circuitry protects the patient against microprocessor looks.
The circuitry puts all the outputs in a safe state in case of
microprocessor malfunction. The watchdog is tested at each power-on.
If it does not respond correctly, the system is halted and the Err 29
message is delivered.
Err 30: Power supply/reference mismatch
The microprocessor measures the correct values of +5V, ±12V and Vref.
If an incorrect voltage is found, the PULSAR2
TM
delivers Err 30 and halts
all functions.
