Gear
Visual inspection
The transmission can be subjected to a visual inspection rela-
tively easily. For this purpose, the gear head does not have to be
disassembled, or largely disassembled.
Drain the oil
Fully unscrew the mounting screws of the cover.
Slightly twist the cover in the sealing seat.
Then use the mounting screws to press the cover off the seal.
