4.3 Safety
Use the multi-milling machine only under the following conditions:
During operation
The multi milling-machine is in proper working order.
The multi-milling machine is used as prescribed.
The operating manual is followed.
All safety devices are installed and activated.
Stop the machine immediately in the event of any abnormality in operation and make sure it
cannot be started up accidentally or without authorisation.
Notify the person responsible immediately of any modification.
ATTENTION!
Protect your eyes from chips and other splinters flying off at high speed. Use protective
goggles.
ATTENTION!
Noise levels may vary depending on the work cycle. Use ear protection!
4.3.1 Warming up the machine
ATTENTION!
If the multi- milling machine and in particular the milling spindle is immediately operated
at maximum load when it is cold it may result in damages.
4.4 Switching the machine on and off
4.4.1 Switch on
Turn the main switch to the "On" position (see Img.4-5:).
The main switch is located on the distribution cabinet.
Press the "I" button on the control panel.
(The R/L selector must be set to 0. See Img.4-2:.
4.4.2 Switching off
Turn the On/Off switch on the control panel to the "Off" position.
Switch the main switch to the position „OFF“ / 0 , lock if necessary.
4.4.3 Locking the main switch
Place the red lock in the position shown in the figure by pressing on the left-hand side.
Only possible in the "Off" position
Place the padlock in the hole and lock it.
