6.10.2 Recaro® seat
WARNING
Incorrect Recaro® Seat settings
Risk of falling, tipping
► Note that the maximum backrest angle is 30° while
standing and 20° while driving.
The power wheelchair can be equipped with various
Recaro® seat models.
They provide individually adjustable, comprehensive seating
comfort.
Folding the backrest forward (reducing the
transportation size)
1) Pull the release handle on the Recaro® seat (see Fig.4,
item 1) up. The release handle is located on the side of
the backrest.
2) Fold the backrest forward.
3) Let go of the release handle.
→ The backrest is folded forward.
Folding the backrest up
► Fold the backrest up until the release handle is securely
engaged.
→ The backrest is folded up.
Removing the headrest
Two people are required to remove the headrest.
1) 1st person: Find the release points on the Recaro® seat
below the cover (see Fig.29) and push them at the
same time.
2) 2nd person: Pull the headrest up and out.
→ The headrest is removed.
