Opening the lap belt
Press the red release button.
The buckle is open and the belt can be removed.
Adjusting the belt length
The belt length can be adjusted on both sides. Excess belt
length is taken up by the plastic slider.
> The user sits upright or lies in the power wheelchair.
1) Close the belt.
2) Position the 2 buckle halves in the middle of the body.
3) Position the respective half of the buckle at a right angle
(see Fig.43, item 1).
4) Slide the 2 halves of the closure to the desired position.
5) Release the respective half of the buckle.
The belt length is adjusted.

Four-point belt/chest belt
CAUTION
Insufficient support of the seated person
Risk of falling out of the power wheelchair
When driving in public areas, always wear the four-
point or chest belt for additional support.
Under no circumstances may the belt system be used
as part of a restraint system for transportation in a
wheelchair accessible vehicle.
