CAUTION
Cautions in assembling
(1) : Putting the cable through rubber packing, screw in the gland and press the packing. In this,
make sure to screw in the gland enough until the cable stops.
(2) : This cable gland is furnished with a hook. After (1), make sure to screw in the clamp with a
M4 screw and fix the cable.
■ ATEX, IECEx explosionproof, KOSHA/KTL explosionproof and CSA explosionproof
1. Normally, cable glands are not supplied by OVAL. In case they are prepared by each customer,
make sure to use the cable gland which conforms to following requirements.
Explosionproof code：Exd ⅡCU
Protection class： IP66 min.
Nominal size： G3/4
2. Optionally, cable glands can be supplied by OVAL. According to the OD of cable used, select the
proper size that is suitable for rubber packing.

NOTE: 1. In case of ATEX, IECEx, use Ex component.

3. In case of CSA, use NRTL approvals(Class I, Zone 1, AEx d IIB and over)
component.
◆ Tighten up the part firmly so as not to have clearance between the cable and rubber packing.
◆ If there are any electric conduits not used, seal them properly with the pertaining close-up plug
supplied by OVAL to prevent intrusion of rain water and dust.
