Switch the picture quality and recording format of the motion pictures to record. The recording
formats that can be set change according to [REC FORMAT] setting.

*1 You can record motion pictures in 1080/50p (1920k1080/50 progressive), the best AVCHD
picture quality for this unit.
*2 [1080/50M], [1080/28M] and [720] are recording modes suitable for playing back or editing on a
PC.
*3 [iFrame] is a format suitable for Mac (iMovie etc.). It is recommended for when using a Mac.
≥ Please refer to page 12 for details about recordable time using the battery.
≥ Use an SD card conforming to Class 10 of the SD Speed Class Rating when you want to
record motion pictures to the SD card using the setting [1080/50M].
≥ This function’s default setting is [HG] mode.
≥ Please refer to page 238 for details about approximate recordable time.
≥ When the unit is moved a lot or moved quickly, or when a fast-moving subject is recorded,
mosaic-type noise may appear at playback.
