Cleaning of Filter
Be sure to disconnect the power cable of the main block (POS Workstation) and
confirm the power is “OFF” before the operation below.
The cleaning period is a guideline, and frequent cleaning is recommended.
■ Removing and cleaning the filter
Clean the filter every two weeks following the procedure below.

Follow step 1 in “Operator’s Display Replacement”
to remove the cable cover. (
pages 37, 39)

While holding down the whole surface of the filter,
slide the filter forward to remove.

Do not use excessive force to open the filter.

Remove any dust from the filter and cable cover with
a vacuum cleaner.

Wipe away any dirt using a moistened firmly
wrung-out cloth.
●
Do not use a pot cleaner or scrubbing brush.
●
It is recommended that you also clean other vent
areas at the same time.
■ Installing the filter

Align the filter to the filter installation section of
the main block, and while holding down the whole
surface of the filter, slide the filter backward to
install.
●
Firmly press the filter in until the back latch on its
near side clicks.

Follow step 6 in “Operator’s Display Replacement”
to install the cable cover. (
