4. Programme the SIP extension you wish to register.
a. Set the IP address of the PBX, extension number,
and password in the corresponding fields for your
SIP extension.
b. Send a request from the SIP extension to the PBX
for registration.
• If the authentication information of the SIP
extension
and
the PBX match, the registration is
successful.
Note
• When programming the SIP extension, the
names of the corresponding fields may differ
depending on the type of SIP phone you are
using.
• For details about the actual operation of SIP
phones, refer to the documentation of the SIP
phone.
• For certain SIP phones, you may need to set a
Sign-in name, which should consist of the
extension number
and the IP address of the PBX
(e.g., 350@192.168.0.101).
