  If you cannot set the IP address, subnet mask address, and PBX IP address to the IP-PT on your Panasonic PBX, it is likely because an unusable value is being set. Set an IP address within the valid range. IP address of the IP-PT/PBX: "1.0.0.0" to "223.255.255.255" Subnet mask address: "0–255.0–255.0–255.0–255" (except "0.0.0.0" and "255.255.255.255").

  If the status of the port property of an SLT extension shows as FAULT on your Panasonic PBX, it could be due to: * The telephone is off-hook: Put the telephone on-hook and restart the PBX. This solution does not apply to the power failure ports (ports 1, 2 on the pre-installed MCSLC4 card). * There is a problem in the wiring: Disconnect all cabling between the PBX and SLTs, and restart the PBX. After restarting, if operation is normal, there is probably a problem in the wiring or connection. (For example, there might be a short circuit in the switchboard or cabling.) This solution does not apply to the power failure ports (ports 1, 2 on the pre-installed MCSLC4 card).

  If you hear a busy tone when trying to make calls using a SIP phone on your Panasonic PBX, the status of the port that the SIP phone is connected to is likely Out of Service. Change the port status from Out of Service to In Service using Web Maintenance Console.
