f The factory default setting of the projector name is “Namexxxx”. xxxx is a xed value assigned to each projector.
[ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT]
Set the user name and password used for administrator account.
1) Press as to select [ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT] screen is displayed.
Setting the user name
1) Press as to select [USER NAME] and press the <ENTER> button.
f The [USER NAME] screen is displayed.
f The default user name is “dispadmin”.
2) Select characters with the asqw buttons and press the <ENTER> button to enter the user name.
f Up to 16 characters can be input.
f Select [ALL DELETE] to delete all the entered characters, or select [DELETE] to delete a character.
f The <DEFAULT> button on the remote control can also be used to delete a character.
3) Select [OK] with the asqw buttons and press the <ENTER> button.
f To cancel the change of the name, select [CANCEL] and press the <ENTER> button.

1) Press as to select [PASSWORD] and press the <ENTER> button.
f The [PASSWORD] screen is displayed.
2) Select characters with the asqw buttons and press the <ENTER> button to enter the password.

4) Press as to select [PASSWORD CONFIRM] and press the <ENTER> button.
f Re-enter the password.
5) Press as to select [STORE] and press the <ENTER> button.
Attention
f Set the password of [ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT] (x pages 38, 83) rst before you use the network function. Otherwise, you cannot
use the web control function or communication control via a LAN (including Panasonic application software).
Note
f If the password of administrator account has not being set, the [PJLink PASSWORD] menu and [NETWORK CONTROL] menu are
disabled.
f If the [USER NAME] or [PASSWORD] has been set, you need to input the current user name and password under [CURRENT] rst before
you set the new user name or password.
f The user name and password of administrator account can also be set from web page of [Set up passwords] (x page 95).
[PJLink PASSWORD]
Set the password used for PJLink control.
1) Press as to select [PJLink PASSWORD].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [PJLink PASSWORD] screen is displayed.
