Convenient functions
Preparation
≥Connect an active subwoofer (not included). See below for
connection.
≥Place the subwoofer as close as possible to the front center.
[Adjusting\the\bass]
Press [SHIFT]r[SUBWOOFER].
Each time you press the buttons:
SUB W LOW (factory preset)>SUB W MID>SUB W MAX

Adjust the volume on the subwoofer to suit your preference.
[Note]
When using headphones, the subwoofer should be switched off.
Press [MUTING].
Volume is reduced to minimum.
To cancel
Press [MUTING] again or reduce the volume to minimum (–– dB),
then raise it to the required level.
Muting is also canceled when you switch the unit to standby.
You can display the time or dim the display.
Press [SHIFT]r[DISPLAY] until the display
you want appears.
Each time you press the buttons:
A) Clock (The time appears.)

The original display is restored when you:
—Turn the unit off.
—Select another source.
Face the remote control at the television for the following operations.
Turning the television on/off
Press [SHIFT]r[TVÍ].
Switching the television’s video input mode
Press [SHIFT]r[TV/VIDEO].
Changing channels
Press [SHIFT]r[TV CHX] or [SHIFT]r[TV CHW].
Adjusting the volume
Press [SHIFT]r[TV VOLr] or [SHIFT]r[TV VOLs].

Some models cannot be operated by this remote control.
