Lubrication Point
1. Fill or apply waterproof grease to the parts shown in the figure with an oil gun.
2. Apply anti-corrosion lubricating oil to the propeller shaft.
Cooling Water Channel
1. Check the inlet of the cooling water channel for blockage. Clean it if necessary.

2. Place the outboard motor in the water to ensure that the water level is above the
anti-swirl plate and start the engine.
3. Check whether there is cooling water flowing out from the observation hole. If there is
no water or the water flow is intermittent, check the cooling water channel in the
outboard motor.

Thermostat
1. Remove the thermostat cover, and then remove the thermostat.
