Taking Pictures
In X (Digital Wide) mode, you can stitch two vertical images captured with this
camera into a single frame up to approx. 19 mm coverage (35 mm film
equivalent).

Use the four-way controller (2345) to select X (Digital
Wide) from the Capture Mode Palette.

Press the 4 button.
The camera enters X mode.
Turn the camera 90° clockwise and compose your
first picture.
When the camera detects a person’s face, the
Face Detection function is activated and the face
detection frame appears (p.70).
