9.02 Threading the sewing threads on the subclass -1/.. and -5/..
Switch off the machine!
Danger of injury if the machine is started accidentally!
● Thread needle thread as shown in Fig. 9-02.
● By turning milled screws 1 and 2 adjust the tension of the needle thread to avoid material
puckering or thread breakage.
For thin, soft materials a lower thread tension is required, for thicker fabrics a
higher thread tension.
Thread the needle from the front!
