12.04 Checking/adjusting the air pressure
● Before operating the machine, always
check the air pressure on gauge 1.
● Gauge 1 must show a pressure of 6 bar.
● If necessary adjust to this reading.
● To do so, pull knob 2 upwards and turn it
so that the gauge shows a pressure of
6 bar.

Top up oil once a month.
● Pour in oil through the hole in inspection
glass 1 up to the bottom edge of the
hole.
Only use oil with a mean
viscosity of 31.0 mm
2
/s at 40°
C and a density of 0.870 g/cm
3
at 15° C.
We recommend
PFAFF sewing machine oil,
part no. 280-1-120 145
