13.04.09 Bobbin-case-opener eccentric and retaining lug
Requirements
1. With the needle bar at BDC the bobbin case opener 5 must be at its rear point of
reversal.
2. The front edges of retaining spring 3 and retaining lug 6 must be flush.

● Bring the needle bar to BDC.
● Turn eccentric 1 (screws 2) in accordance with requirement 1.
● Move retaining spring 3 (screw 4) in accordance with requirement 2.
When tightening screws 2, press the hook downwards and eccentric 1
upwards so that the hook shaft does not exhibit any axial play.
