5.3 PH/TEMPERATURE MODULE
To measure pH and temperature. It is required for cultivation thermoregulation. The module consists of electronic unit
embedded in Photobioreactor FMT150 Control Unit, sensor probe and probe cable (Fig. 21). InPro3253SG/120/PT1000 or
InPro3253/120/PT1000 single rod measuring cells from METTLER TOLEDO (www.mt.com) are supplied as low
maintenance, autoclavable and pressure resistant pH electrodes with a factory filled pre-pressurised liquid electrolyte and
a reference electrolyte together with a silver ions barrier. Measurement disturbances caused by earth potentials are
avoided through employment of a “solution ground” option available with InPro3250SG version. For InPro3250 version
please refer to description of grounding during calibration on page 29. For more information please refer to manual
provided by electrode manufacturer.

2
MODULE
The O
2
module is designed for continuous monitoring of dissolved O
2
concentration in the culture medium. The module
consists of electronic unit embedded in Photobioreactor FMT150 Control Unit, sensor probe and sensor communication
cable (Fig. 22). O
2
sensor InPro6800/12/120 from METTLER TOLEDO (www.mt.com) with integrated temperature probe is
used for oxygen measurement. Operation of the InPro6800/12/120 sensor is based on polarographic measurement. For
more information please refer to manual provided by electrode manufacturer.
