Tests
Because
the
tests
in
the
LIFEPAK
9
(and
9P,
9B,
and
9A)
defibrillator/monitor
Service
Manual
are
written
using
the
standard
paddles,
some
tests
must
be
changed
so
they
can
be
performed
using
the
Shock
Advisory
Adapter
or
Defibrillation
Adapter.
The
following
paragraphs
describe
these
changes
to
tests
in
the
Performance
Inspection
Procedure
(PIP)
and
Test
and
Calibration
Procedure
(TCP).
The
tests
in
this
Addendum
do
not
include
all
of
the
tests
in
the
PIP
and
TCP
of
your
service
manual.
For
the
complete
PIP
and
TCP
for
this
new
configuration,
perform
both
the
tests
in
this
Addendum
and
those
in
the
Service
Manual.
Many
of
the
following
tests
are
complete
replacements
for
the
tests
in
the
Service
Manual;
however,
there
are
two
in
the
PIP
that
require
only
a brief
explanation
of the
necessary
modifications
to
the
existing
tests.
