1. Slide front wheel or inner rear wheel over studs, being careful not to damage stud threads.
2. Slide outer rear wheel over studs.

NOTE: Right hand threads used on both sides of vehicle.
NOTE: Before installing wheel and two-piece flange nuts, lightly lubricate stud threads, contact surfaces
between cap and washer, hub pads or wheel hub bore.
3. Apply two drops of oil (SAE 30W) at one point between the flange and hex body of nut, and apply two drops of
oil to last two or three threads of the end of each stud. Apply a thin film of oil to the wheel hub bore. Excessive
lubricant is not desirable.
Hubs designed for steel hub piloted wheels may not have sufficient depth or stud length to properly
accommodate aluminum wheels. Installation of hub piloted wheels on a hub with insufficient pilot
depth or stud length may cause wheel assembly failure leading to loss of vehicle control, personal
injury, or death.
