CAUTION
Whenever
aircraft
is
placed
on
jacks
for
the
purpose
of
manually
retracting
the
nose
gear
assembly,
insure
the
nose
gear
downlock
is
fully
disengaged
before
releasing
the
nose
gear
drag
links.
Damage
could
occur
to
the
downlock
if not
disengaged
fully.
d.
Disconnect
the
aft
end
of
cylinder
from
its
attachment
fitting
and
remove
the
cylinder
from
the
wheel
well.

With
the
cylinder
removed
from
the
airplane,
mark
the
position
of
the
end
gland
(2)
to
facilitate
reinstallation.

safety
wire

and
unscrew
end
gland
(2).

Additional
disassembly
of
piston
(5)
and
"O"
rings
(3),
(4)
and
(7)
may
now
be
accomplished.
