TEMPERATURE
INDICATOR
10-69.
GENERAL.
The
oil temperature
indicator
is mounted
in the
instrument
cluster
on
the instrument panel.
This instrument
will provide a temperature
indication
of the engine oil
in degrees
Fahrenheit.
The instrument
has a
temperature
bulb located
in the oil
screen
assembly, on
the engine accessory
section.

show
any
reading.
Excessive scale error.
Pointer fails to move
as
engine
is warmed
up.

Check engine unit and
wiring
to instrument.
Repair
or replace.
Check engine unit and
wiring.
Dull or discolored
marking.
Age. Replace
instrument.

GENERAL.
The ammeter
is mounted
in
the instrument
cluster located
on the
instrument
panel. This instrument
measures the
output of the alternator
into the
entire
electrical system
including
the battery
charging
demand.
