LCD
Display
Shows the current status of your machine and
prompts you through all setup operations in a two-
line LCD.

Lock Key Prevents unauthorized use of your machine if the
lock feature is set up and the machine is in "sleep
mode"; entering your four-digit password unlocks
(awakens) the machine

Class Allows you to select class and calculate postage
based on the service selected if you have the
optional internal rating system feature. See Chapter
3 - Running Mail.

Funds Allows you to check and add postage funds to
your machine See Chapter 5 • Adding Postage/
Connecting to Data Center on page 5-1.

Menu Allows you access to settings of the machine, such
as date, time, etc. See Chapter 6 • System Settings
on page 6-1.

Clear/Back Allows you to clear or cancel an entry or return to the
previous screen/level of menu.

Keypad
Allows you to type in numbers and letters for account
names, postage values, and other information.

Review
Keys
Allows you to scroll through choices in the LCD
display or review the current settings.

Enter/Yes
and No
Allows you to confirm an operation or answer “Yes” or
"No" to a prompt.
