If the external memory is not responding, first check the USB and memory device to ensure they are properly connected. Then: * Select 'Try to Reconnect' to recheck the device connections. The system will display a 'Please Wait' screen while attempting to reestablish the connection. * Select 'Turn Accounting OFF' to run mail without accounting. Note that this operation requires supervisor access privileges. * If the problem persists, cycle AC power on the meter.
