Zeroing the Scale
You may need to run this option to zero out the weighing platform
before processing mail.
1. Press Weigh/Rate.
2. Select "Zero the Scale".
3. The weighing platform will zero out the weight and return to the
Home screen.
Entering Weight Manually

Differential Weighing
See Chapter 3, Running Mail.
Rate the Mail on Scale
This setting allows you switch to "scale" mode so you can use the
scale to weigh a mail piece for rating.
1. Press Weigh/Rate.
2. Select "Rate Mail on Scale".
3. Process you mail accordingly.

NOTE for DM300c/DM400c – If the Auto Scale feature is turned
on (see next page), placing a mail piece on the scale acts the
same as selecting this option in the menu.
Key In Postage
Use this option to switch to a mode that allows you to manually key-
ing in postage on the control panel.
1. Press Weigh/Rate.
2. If necessary, press the green down arrow key to scroll through
the menu screens.
3. Select "Key In Postage". The system returns to the home screen
with "Key In Postage"" displayed in the upper left corner of the
display.
