Filling the Moistener (DM400c/DM475)
1. For the DM400, check the sight window on the front to see the
liquid level. For DM475, check the indicator in the top cover.
2. Open the feeder access cover (DM400c) or the feeder/WOW
cover (DM475).
3. Remove the moistener bottle, and place it on the table top with
its cap facing up.

3. Unscrew the moistener bottle cap and fill the moist-
ener bottle with Pitney Bowes E-Z Seal
®
sealing solu-
tion. We rec om mend E-Z Seal
®
be cause it helps keep
your moist en er clean and im proves seal ing ef fi cien cy.
IMPORTANT:
Do not overfi ll the moistener bottle.
4. Screw back on the moistener bottle cap and place the bottle
back in its original location (upside down in machine).
5. Close the appropriate cover.
