SHOCKS / SPRINGS
FRONT SHOCK REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. Elevate the vehicle off the ground to relieve the
suspension load.
2. Support under A-arm.
3. Remove the upper and lower fasteners

retaining
the shock and remove the shock
w
from the vehicle.
Discard nuts and replace with new upon installation.
4. Reverse the procedure to reinstall the shock. Torque
new fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Shock Mounting Bolts:
42 ft-lbs (57 Nm)
REAR SHOCK REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. Elevate the vehicle off the ground to relieve the
suspension load.
2. Support under control arm.
3. Remove the hose clamps

retaining the shock
reservoir to the upper control arm.
4. Remove the upper and lower fasteners
w
retaining
the shock and remove the shock
e
from the vehicle.
Discard nuts and replace with new upon installation.
5. Reverse the procedure to reinstall the shock. Torque
new fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Shock Mounting Bolts:
42 ft-lbs (57 Nm)
