POSEIDON M28 USER MANUAL
SETPOINT AND CPOD MODE
In Setpoint mode the M28 will assume that the diver breathes a gas mix with a
ppO
2
equal to the setpoint at the current depth and use that as input to the
decompression model.
WARNING:
In Setpoint and CPOD mode the decompression model is using
the values entered by the diver. False values used could lead to
serious injury or death.
If a CPOD with an oxygen sensor is connected and mounted on the loop the
decompression model will use the measured ppO
2
as input and the dive mode
will be referred to as CPOD instead of Setpoint.
When Bailout is set to ACTIVE in Setpoint or CPOD mode, the M28 will
calculate the pp
O
2
in the bailout OC breathing gas based on the congured
FO2 in the selected bailout OC gas and the current depth and use that as input
to the decompression model.
