O-ring care and maintenance
One particular part of the device will require special attention is the cable
connector. Make sure that any kind of connecting device (cable or plug) is
greased, carefully installed and tightened before outdoor or underwater use.
Long-term storage
Leaving the M28 for long periods of time without recharging will lead to
premature battery aging. If the M28 is not used during a longer time period, the
best storage method is to recharge the M28 once a month. If this is not
possible, the best long-term solution is to leave the M28 plugged into the
charger. However the method of monthly recharging of the M28 will maximize
its battery life. Store the M28 in a cool, dry environment.
Storage temperature: -20°C to +50°C / -4°F to +122°F.
Transport in Pelicase
Open ”Vent Valve” on Pelicase when transporting unit between places with
altitude difference of 300 ft/100 m or more.
