POSEIDON M28 USER MANUAL
Technical alarms
In addition to the Dive alarms and Connection status alarms, there are also
several technical alarms which the M28 can activate if it detects a technical
failure. Examples are pressure sensor failure, missing ppO
2
sensor, internal
communication errors and rmware mismatch.
The Firmware mismatch alarm is activated when the rmware version in one or
more devices differs from the rmware version in the M28. This can be
remedied by updating the device(s) that have incompatible rmware, see
chapter Update device rmware from the M28 for details.
The ppO2 sensor missing alarm is activated when neither data from a SSO2
sensor in the CPOD Is received nor voltage from galvanic sensor in the CPOD is
detected. In case of a sensor failure, a ashing “--” is displayed in place of the
number normally measured by the sensor.
