Technical alarms
In addition to the Dive alarms and Connection status alarms, there are also
several technical alarms which the M28 can activate if it detects a technical
failure. Examples are pressure sensor failure, missing ppO
2
sensor, internal
communication errors and rmware mismatch.
The Firmware mismatch alarm is activated when the rmware version in one or
more devices differs from the rmware version in the M28. This can be
remedied by updating the device(s) that have incompatible rmware, see
chapter Update device rmware from the M28 for details.
The ppO2 sensor missing alarm is activated when neither data from a SSO2
sensor in the CPOD Is received nor voltage from galvanic sensor in the CPOD is
detected. In case of a sensor failure, a ashing “--” is displayed in place of the
number normally measured by the sensor.
