Procedure
Review entire procedure before starting.
1. Access the console Setup/Service mode and select the Informational Settings >
LPCA SW setting and verify that the LPCA software satisfies the following version
requirement, see "Spinner® Chrono Console" on page177:

LPCA SW: 303713-103 or later

the AC Power Adaptor into the power port located on the bottom edge of the
LPCA board located underneath the belt cover, see "Spinner® Chrono™ Console" on
page177.
IMPORTANT: On AutoCal R2 release bikes, the AC Power Adapter is used to
enable the manual AutoCal function. The manual AutoCal will overwrite the factory
or any previously stored Autocal calibration constants.
3. Access the console Setup/Service mode and select the Operational Information >
Torque

setting, see "Spinner® Chrono™ Console" on page177.
4. Turn the resistance knob to zero resistance (fully counterclockwise).
5. Pedal or spin the pedals to 55 rpm or greater, then slow down and stop the pedals.
When the pedals and flywheel stop, the bike will start the AutoCal. Wait a minimum of
10 seconds for the AutoCal to complete.
6. Verify that the Torque reading is 0 in-lbs. Repeat the AutoCal if not 0 in-lbs.
7. Unplug the AC Power Adaptor from the LPCA board.

electrical receptacle "outlet" (also called the plug-in).

Torque is a measure of the force that can cause an object to rotate about an axis. Bolt/nut
example: 5 NM torque is equivalent to 5 newton's of force applied one meter from the center
of the bolt, 6 ft-lb is equivalent to 6 lbs of force applied 1 foot away from the center of the
bolt.
