Introducing the Management Web Interface
Note To ensure proper screen refresh when using Internet Explorer with Windows
XP, be sure that the browser options are configured as follows: Under the
menu “Tools > Internet Options > Temporary Internet Files > Settings,”
the setting for item “Check for newer versions of stored pages” should be
set to “Automatically.”

Logging On to the Web Interface
To log on to the Web interface:
1. Start your Web browser.
2. In the address or location bar, enter the IP address that you assigned to
the access point when you preconfigured it in “
Step 1. Preconfigure the
Access Point” on page 2-4.
A logon dialog box appears.
3. In User name, type admin.
4. In Password, type password.
5. Click OK to log on.
The ProCurve Access Point 10ag Web interface appears, showing the Infor-
mation page.
