Note! Cassettes powered by different transformers cannot be connected via +DC connector. This may damage
these devices.
Examples of system installation diagrams can be found at the end of this manual.
The minimum installation consists of a cassette, power transformer, device line and lock. Once connected, the
system should run with the standard settings.
6.3 Installation on long cables
In case of KDC1915 keyboards installation at a distance greater than 10m from the central cassette use at least
pairing cables, preferably UTP type cables. It is recommended that each audio path (MIK, GL) should be conducted
in pairs with ground (speaker-to-ground, microphone-to-ground pairs). It is also recommended that LNK line and
device line should also be paired with separate ground, if possible.
Failure to do so may, in some cases, limit the functionality of system by the audible crosstalk and audio
inducements.
