7.9 Feedback
Feedback allows you to establish a connection with any cassette in the system, called by the camera installed in any
premises (if the one is properly configured). KDC1905 system enables to indicate cassettes that will be involved in
the call-back, the physical numbers of handsets that can trigger the call-back, the ringing time in cassette and
waiting time after the call is finished (waiting time before dropping an unbound call).
7.9.1 Feedback configuration
Feedback communication is disabled by default. The first step in the configuration is to set keyboards that are to be
used for feedback communication, which is equivalent to unblocking the communication. They are defined using
bitmask in parameter 250 (see Table 30.). Unlike parameters, e.g. lock or OC, the bitmask for feedback is not above
127 it is not correlated with any of the cassettes, so it cannot be treated as a local event in any case.
Switching on individual cassettes to handle the feedback communication consists in entering in parameter 250
the sum of values assigned to the keyboard number (i.e. connection of cassettes 1 and 3 is made by entering the
number 5).
By default, the feedback communication can be called from any device in the system. There is a possibility of
blocking the return communication for individual premises. This is done in subprogram A-4 by using the flag
feedback interlocks (see chapter 4.5.).
7.9.2 Use of feedback
Feedback communication is called using the devices ANSWER button (button P1 in the idle state). If the button is
pressed while the handset is not in use, the system will first address the decoder and start the normal procedure of
call to be answered, after which the system will proceed to the next step. If feedback is called when the handset is
raised, the system will address the uniphone and then proceed to the next step of call-back, this time without ringing.
The next step is signaling in selected cassettes. Each cassette will display the logical number from which the call
is made. A person using the keyboard can answer the call using the button . From the moment of answering the
system behaves like during a normal call called from the keyboard.
Note! Remember that if it is possible to call a given physical number from several logical numbers
(redirections) in the system, only one of them will be displayed.
KDC39xx series devices have a memory of numbers that tried to establish feedback communication
unsuccessfully. After unsuccessful connection attempt, the cassettes participating in the feedback communication
(parameter 250) will display the last number from which the connection was attempted. Then you can establish a
connection with the premises using a key , or return to normal operation of the cassette using key . If there
are numbers in the memory from the feedback communication, pressing the button will switch the cassette
between idle state and display of the last number. Deletion of the number from memory takes place after making a
call using the button .
7.9.3 Feedback parameter list
Table 30 shows a list of call parameters. Parameters can be changed in program A-8 (see point 4.9). Assigning the
cassettes to feedback communication consists in setting the bit mask, as in the table below.
