The following are the basic steps for basic configuration of KDC1905 system:
1. Insert the memory card into the connector on the main board of device. MicroSD (not SHDC or SDXC) cards
up to 2GB in FAT16/FAT32 format are supported.
2. Enter the installer code.
(a) Enter the programming menu: in idle state, select the button , enter standard access code: “240361”
and the default installer code (‘0000’). After entering the code “240361”, the cassette will briefly
display the used program version.
(b) Enter the program A-7 (select 7 from keyboard and confirm with button )
(c) The cassette will display the current code alternately with an editing message. Delete the old code using
the button
(d) Enter a new installer code, confirm with key
3. Parameters edition:
(a) enter the programming menu ( –>installer code), the cassette should display
(b) after the text is displayed, enter the parameter number (e.g. 208) and accept with key
(c) the keyboard will display the parameter symbol (e.g. ) alternately with its value
(d) in order to change the value, delete the current value with key , enter a new one and accept it with
key . The cassette will return to program A-8.
4. Entering residents’ data
(a) If the cassette is installed in place of older KDC1804/1805 cassettes, it is possible to read in the *.CSV file
generated by these cassettes:
• enter program A-6 and select subprogram 5
• enter the file name without extension (the name must consist of digits only) and confirm with button
. The saved file must have .csv extension.
(b) If manual input is required, this can be done in four steps:
• code table setting – these are lock codes generated for the premises 1-255. Default codes are
supplied with the device. If the keyboard is installed in place of the existing system, it is possible
to enter the code table according to previously used one, without the intervention of manufacturer’s
service. In this case, the parameters should be changed in A-8 program: 208 – code table number
and 209 – year of code table
• enter rfid and dallas IDs: program A-1. When the message is displayed the ID should be
applied, then enter the logical number to which the change is to be assigned and accept it by
pressing the key .
• Manual redirection of logical numbers: program A-2. After entering, the cassette will display
message . Enter the logical number and then after displaying enter the physical
target number.
• Change of lock code: program A-3. The operation is analogous to program A-2, the lock code is
assigned to the number entered from the keyboard.
