4.12 Automatic Exposure Control
If the PRS 500 E is operated with an automatic exposure control, the functionality can be checked as
follows:
Place a phantom or any other weakening object (not lead) in the beam path. Select the measurement
chamber field to be checked and trigger the exposure. If this works properly, the measured value is
displayed. Repeat this procedure for all existing measuring chamber fields. If an error message is
displayed during this test, please contact PROTEC service department or a service company authorized
by them immediately.
