Perform the following steps to congure the switch:
1 Connect a terminal to the console port.
2 Manually congure the IP Address by CLI.
3 Manage the switch.
Congure the IP Address
You can congure the switch with a static IP address or use a Dynamic Host Conguration
Protocol (DHCP) server to automatically obtain an IP address for the switch. For the rst time
conguration, it is recommended to set the IP address manually.
Set IP Address Manually
To set the IP address of the switch manually, perform the following:
1 Connect the switch to a computer with a terminal emulation program via the Console port.

congurations:
Baud rate: 115200
Data width: 8 bits
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1

3 After setting up the terminal, plug the power cable(s) to the AC power connector(s) of the
switch. The boot up screen appears in the terminal. The boot up process may take a few
minutes to complete.
