Booting Process Errors
This section describes the various booting process errors that can occur with the CubiScan 125.
Refer to the following sections for more information.
Failure in Initialization Process
Review the following information if there is a failure in the initialization process when the
CubiScan 125 is turned on.
Initialization File
This process may fail if the SD card is missing or fails to load a needed file. Complete the
following steps if the initialization file process fails.
Note
Upon initialization failure, the CubiScan 125 will use default settings. This may impact calibration.
1. Tap [Menu] on the CubiScan 125 touchscreen. Tap the N in the Save Data field. Tap the [+]
button to change the
N to a Y. The current settings will be saved.
2. Reboot the CubiScan 125.
3. Verify that a SD card is installed. The SD card is located in the controller box. Remove the SD
card and make sure that the param.txt file is installed.
4. Try using a new SD (2 GB, standard) card with factory default parameter files.
5. If, after completing the above steps, the initialization file process still fails, please contact
Quantronix Technical Assistance at +1 801-451-7000.
Reading Gate
This process may be delayed if the CubiScan 125 fails to detect gate board(s). Complete the
following steps if the reading gate process is delayed.
1. Make sure that the gate power cable is securely connected.
2. Make sure the gate ribbon cables are securely connected.
3. Reboot the CubiScan 125.
4. If, after completing the above steps, the reading gate process still fails, please contact
Quantronix Technical Assistance at +1 801-451-7000.
Initializing Scale
This process may fail if the CubiScan 125 cannot communicate with the scale card. Complete the
following steps if the initializing scale process fails.
1. Make sure that all controller box cables are securely connected.
2. Make sure that all load cell summing box cables are securely connected.
