8. Remove the power supply and discard it.
9. Locate the replacement power supply and screw it
into place using the screws from step 7.
10. Reconnect the cables from step 4. Make sure you
thread the ground cable through the hole in the cage
lid before reconnecting it.
11. Replace the cage lid and secure it using the screw
from step 5.
12. Replace the controller box lid and secure it using the
screws from step 3.
13. Replace the glass platform.
14. Power the CubiScan 125 on.
Replacing the Scale Card
This section describes how to replace the scale card. The
scale card is located in the controller. Handle the scale
card with care and avoid exposing it to static electricity.
Items Needed
• Phillips screwdriver
•Replacement scale card
Complete the following steps to replace the scale card.
1. Power the CubiScan 125 off.
2. Carefully remove the glass platform and place it in a
safe location.
3. Unplug all cables that connect to the controller.
4. Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the 10 screws
holding the controller lid in place. See Figure 45.
5. Disconnect all cables that are connected to the
motherboard.
6. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw
located on top of the scale card.
