Complete the following steps to replace the inverter
board.
1. Power the CubiScan 125 off.
2. Carefully remove the glass platform and place it in a
safe location.
3. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the 10 screws
holding the controller box lid in place and remove
the lid. See Figure 40.
4. Unplug all three cables that connect to the inverter
board.
5. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the four
screws holding the inverter board in place.
6. Remove the damaged inverter board.
7. Locate the replacement inverter board and screw it
into place using the screws from step 5.
8. Plug all the cables in that were disconnected in step
4.
9. Replace the controller box lid and screw it in place
using the screws from step 3.
10. Replace the glass platform.
11. Power the CubiScan 125 on.
Replacing the Motherboard
This section describes how to replace the motherboard.
The motherboard is located inside the controller. Handle
the motherboard with care and avoid exposing it to static
electricity.
Items Needed
• Phillips screwdriver
• Replacement motherboard
