11. Screw the replacement transmitter board in place
using the screws from step 7.
12. Reattach the power cable and transmit ribbon, as
indicated in Figure 30. Make sure the transmit
ribbon has been firmly locked into place, with both
tabs securely snapped.
13. Return the board assembly to the gate and secure it
using the four screws that were removed in step 5.
14. Replace the filter that was removed in step 4.
15. Replace the gate cover and secure it using the screws
from step 3.
16. Replace the glass platform.
17. Power the CubiScan 125 on.
Replacing the Width Receiver
Board
This section describes how to replace a width receiver
board on the CubiScan 125.
Items Needed
•3/8'' ratchet
• 5/64'' Allen wrench
• 1/16'' Allen wrench
• Phillips screwdriver
• Replacement width receiver board
Complete the following steps to replace the width
receiver board. The width receiver board is located on
top of the gate.
1. Power the CubiScan 125 off.
2. Use the 3/8'' ratchet to remove the three bolts
holding the encoder cover in place and then remove
the cover and set it aside. See Figure 31.
3. Loosen the four screws holding the gate cover in
place using the 5/64'' Allen wrench. Refer to
Figure 32.
