The Sterndrive Actuator must only be used on
sterndrives with cable operated power assisted
steering.
The drive unit operates the power steering valve
identically to the steering cable. A clutch
disengages the drive unit to allow manual steering
when the autopilot is disengaged.
Two installation kits are available to allow
connection to different engine manufacturers
equipment.
