•UnlessotherwisestatedonlyusecablessuppliedbyRaymarine

•Whereitisnecessarytousenon-Raymarinecables,ensurethattheyareofcorrectqualityand
gaugefortheirintendedpurpose.(e.g.:longerpowercablerunsmayrequirelargerwiregaugesto
minimizevoltagedropalongtherun).
Strainrelief
Useadequatestrainreliefforcablingtoensurethatconnectorsareprotectedfromstrainandwillnot
pulloutunderextremeseaconditions.
Cableshielding
Ensurethatcableshieldingisnotdamagedandthatallcablesareproperlyshielded.
Makingconnections
Followthestepsbelowtoconnectthecable(s)toyourproduct.
1.Ensurethatthevessel'spowersupplyisswitchedoff.
2.Ensurethatthedevicebeingconnectedtotheunithasbeeninstalledinaccordancewiththe
installationinstructionssuppliedwiththatdevice.
3.Ensuringcorrectorientation,pushthecableconnectorfullyontothecorrespondingconnector
ontheunit.
4.Turnthelockingcollarclockwisetosecurethecable.
