ItisimportantthataneffectiveRFgroundisconnectedtothesystem.Asinglegroundpointshould
beusedforallequipment.Theunitcanbegroundedbyconnectingtheshield(drain)wireofthe
powercabletothevessel'sRFgroundpoint.OnvesselswithoutanRFgroundsystemtheshield
(drain)wireshouldbeconnecteddirectlytothenegativebatteryterminal.
Thedcpowersystemshouldbeeither:
•Negativegrounded,withthenegativebatteryterminalconnectedtothevessel'sground.
•Floating,withneitherbatteryterminalconnectedtothevessel'sground
