Caution:Suncovers
•Ifyourproductissuppliedwithasuncover,
toprotectagainstthedamaging
effectsofultraviolet(UV)light,alwaysfitthesuncoverwhentheproductis
notinuse.
•Suncoversmustberemovedwhentravellingathighspeed,whetherinwater
orwhenthevesselisbeingtowed.
Routine equipmentchecks
Itisrecommendedthatyouperformthefollowingroutinechecks,onaregularbasis,toensurethe
correctandreliableoperationofyourequipment:
•Examineallcablesforsignsofdamageorwearandtear.
•Checkthatallcablesaresecurelyconnected.
Caution:Productcleaning
Whencleaningproducts:
•Lightlyrinseorflushwithclean,coolfreshwater.
•Ifyourproducthasadisplayscreen,doNOTwipethescreenwithadrycloth,
asthiscouldscratchthescreencoating.
•DoNOTuse:abrasive,acidic,ammonia,solventorotherchemicalbased
cleaningproducts.
•DoNOTuseajetwash.
Cleaningthedisplaycase
Thedisplayunitisasealedunitanddoesnotrequireregularcleaning.Ifitisnecessarytoclean
theunit,followthisbasicprocedure:
1.S
witch offthepowertothedisplay.
2.Wipethedisplaywithaclean,softcloth(amicrofibreclothisideal).
3.Ifnecessary,useamilddetergenttoremovegreasemarks.
Note:DoNOT usesolventsordetergentsonthescreenitself.
Cleaningthedisplayscreen
Acoatingisappliedtothedisplayscreen.Thismakes itwaterrepellent,andpreventsglare.T oavoid
damagingthiscoating,followthisprocedure:
1.Switchoffthepowertothedisplay.
2.Rinsethescreenwithfreshwatertoremovealldirtparticlesandsaltdeposits.
3.Allowthescreentodrynaturally.
4.Ifanysmearsremain,verygentlywipethescreenwithacleanmicrofibrecleaningcloth.
Cleaningthesuncover
Thesuppliedsuncoverfeaturesanadhesivesurface.Incertainconditionsunwantedcontaminants
maysticktothissurface.Toavoiddamagingthemonitordisplay,cleanthesuncoverregularly
followingthisprocedure:
1.Carefullyremovethesuncoverfromthedisplay.
2.Rinsethesuncoverwithfreshwatertoremovealldirtparticlesandsaltdeposits.
3.Allowthesuncovertodrynaturally.
