•Transducersshouldbeinstalledinalocationwherenoloadwillbeapplied
tothetransducersduring,launching,lifting,traileringandstorageofthe
boat.
•Transducersmustbeinstalledinthecorrectorientation,withthe
anti-rotationboltclosesttothesternofthevessel.Additionally,adirection
arrowpointingtothebowisembossedontheanti-rotationboltcap.
•Wheninstallingsplit-pairtransducers:
–thecorrecttransducer(portorstarboard)mustbeinstalledinthe
matching(portorstarboard)sideofthehull.Thetransducershavelabels
onthetopfacethatidentifywhichsidetheyshouldbeinstalledonand
thetransducer’selementangle:

headroomtoallowforwithdrawal.
•Toavoidinterferencewiththeinternalmagnetometer,mounttransducers
atleast1m(39inches)fromotherelectricaldevices.
Coredfiberglasshullmounting
Itisrecommendedthatthetransducerismountedinanon-coredsection,if
installationinacoredsectionisrequiredthentheareaaroundtheholemust
beadequatelystrengthenedtoensureitisnotdamagedwhentightening
thehullandanti-rotationnuts.
Important:
Installationinacoredfiberglasshullshouldonlybecarriedoutbya
competentmarineinstaller.
