Cabletypesandlength
Itisimportanttousecablesoftheappropriatetypeandlength.
UnlessotherwisestatedonlyusecablessuppliedbyRaymarine.
Whereitisnecessarytousenon-Raymarinecables,ensurethattheyareof
correctqualityandgaugefortheirintendedpurpose.(e.g.:longerpower
cablerunsmayrequirelargerwiregaugestominimizevoltagedropalong
therun).
Strainrelief
Useadequatestrainreliefforcablingtoensurethatconnectorsareprotected
fromstrainandwillnotpulloutunderextremeseaconditions.
Cableshielding
Ensurethatcableshieldingisnotdamagedduringinstallationandthatall
cablesareproperlyshielded.
Caution:Transducercable
DoNOTusethetransducercabletoliftorsuspendthe
transducer;alwayssupportthetransducerbodydirectly
duringinstallation.
DoNOTcut,shorten,orsplicethetransducercable.
DoNOTremovetheconnector.
Ifthecableiscut,itcannotberepaired.Cuttingthecablewill
alsovoidthewarranty.
