Thesupplied5-in-1antennamustbeinstalledinalocationwhichhasaclear
lineofsighttotheskyandwhereitwillbeawayfromstructureanddevices
thatcouldcauseinterference.
Important:
Athreadextender
kitisavailablethatenablestheantennatobemounted
toathickermountingsurface.Refertotheinstructionssuppliedinthekit
(documentnumber82425)forinstructionsonmountingtheantenna,as
thethreadextenderkitrequiresabiggermountingholesizeandwrench
fortighteningthenut.
1.Drilla23mm(0.91 in)holeatthecenterofthedesiredmountinglocation
toaccepttheantenna’sthreadandcables.
2.Feedthecablesthroughthegasketandplaceontheundersideofthe
antenna.
3.Feedthecablesandthreadthroughtheholeinthemountingsurfaceso
thatthegasketandantennasitflushonthemountingsurface.
4.Feedthecablesthroughthesplitinthenutandsecuretheantennaby
tighteningthenutontheexposedthread.
Tightenthesplitnutusingalargeadjustablewrenchora30mmwrench.
Thetighteningtorqueshouldnotexceed1.47N·m(1.08lbf·ft).
