7.5Webinterfaceaccesstroubleshooting
Beforetroubleshootingproblemswithaccessingtherouter’swebinterface,
ensurethatyouhavefollowedtherelevant‘RayNetconnection’detailsfor
wireddevicesortheAccessingthewebinterface’instructionsprovidedin
therouter’sinstallationandoperationinstructionsandperformedapower
cycle/rebootoftherouter.Thetroubleshootinginformationbelowcanbe
usedifyouarestillexperiencingproblemsaccessingthewebinterface.
Webinterfacenotavailable
Ifyoucannotaccesstherouter’swebinterfaceitcouldbeforoneofthe
followingreasons:
Noconnection
Y ourdevicemusthaveeitherawiredconnectiontooneoftherouter’s
RayNetconnectionsorbeconnectedtotherouter’sWi-Fiaccesspointto
accessthewebinterface.
Unsupportedbrowser
Thewebinterfacecanbeaccessedusingthefollowingsupportedbrowsers:
Chrome,Firefox,EdgeandSafari.Internetexplorer(IE)isNOTsupported.
Ifyouexperienceproblemsusinggenericbrowsersonamobiledevicetry
usingoneofthelistedsupportedbrowsersinstead.
IPaddress
Y ourdevice’sIPaddressmustbeinthesamerangeastherouter’sIP
address.BydefaultmostWi-Fiandethernetconnectionsareconfiguredto
obtainanIPaddressautomatically.Thiswillensureyourdevice’sandrouter’s
IPaddressareinthesamerange.IfyourdeviceisassignedastaticIPaddress
thenitmustbeinthesamerangeastherouter’sIPaddress.Yourrouter’s
IPaddresscanbefoundonanMFD’s
Networksettingstab: Homescreen>
Settings>Network.ThenselectRaymarineY achtsenseLinkfromthelistof
networkdevices,andselectthe ProductInfooption,alternativelyyoucould
useanetworkdiscoverytooltoidentifytherouter’sIPaddress.
VPNblockingaccess
SomeVPNscanblockaccesstotherouter’swebinterface.IfyouuseaVPN
ensureitisdisconnectedbeforetryingtoaccessthewebinterface.
DNSnotresolving
Ifforsomereasonyourdevicecannotresolvethe‘yachtsense.raymarine.com
addressthentryenteringtheroutersIPaddressinstead(e.g.:‘198.18.0.239’).
7.6Mobile/cellulardatatroubleshooting
NoInternetconnection
IfyoucannotaccesstheInternet,andtheStatusfortheCloudand/orMobile
networkconnectionisshowingintheRaymarinemobileapportheRouter
Statuspageas Notinuse, Notconnected,or Error,itismostlikelythatthe
APNsettingsforyourSIMcardproviderareincorrect:
