Raymarine®regularlyissuessoftwareupdatesforitsproductswhichprovide
newandenhancedfeaturesandimprovedperformanceandusability.Itis
importanttoensurethatyouhavethelatestsoftwareforyourproductsby
regularlycheckingtheRaymarine®websitefornewsoftwarereleases.
Note:
Theupgradeshouldbeperformedfromawirednetworkdevicesuchasa
personalcomputerorRaymarine
MFD.Itisnotrecommendedtoperform
theupgradeprocessfromadeviceconnectedusingWi-Fi.
To upgradethesoftwareonyourrouterfollowthestepsbelow:
1.Checkyourrouter’scurrentsoftwareversion(Y oucancheckwhat
softwareversionyourrouterhasbecheckingtheInfopagelocatedunder
Basicsettingsoftherouter’swebinterface).
2.Ifavailable,DownloadupdatedsoftwarefromtheRaymarinewebsite:
www.raymarine.com/software.
3.Accesstherouter’swebinterface:
•FromaRaymarineMFDreferto:
p.47—AccessingthewebinterfacefromaRaymarineMFD
•Fromapersonalcomputerreferto:
p.47—Accessingthewebinterfaceusingawiredconnection
4.Opentherouter’s
Softwareupgradepagelocatedunder Advanced
settings.
5.Ifrequestedentertherouter’s adminpassword.andselect
OK.
6.ClickBrowsefiletoupload.
7.Locateandselectthedownloadedfile.
Thefilewilluploadtotherouter.
8.Click
Upgrade.
Therouterwillnowbeupgraded.Theupgradeprocesscantakesome
time,doNOTdisconnectthedeviceyouareupgradingfromuntilthe
processiscomplete.
Oncetheprocessiscompletetherouterwillreboot.
Restart&factoryreset
Ifyouencounterproblemswithyourrouteritcanberestartedorresettoits
factorydefaultsettingsfromtheRestart&factoryresetpage.
•
Restart
router—rebootstherouter.
• Resettofactorydefaults—removesallchangesmadetotherouters
settingsandresetsittothefactorydefaultsettings.
Note:Theroutercanalsoberesettofactorydefaultsettings
usingtheresetbuttonlocatedonthefrontoftherouter.Referto:

Performingafactoryresettorestoredefaultsettings
Followthestepsbelowifyouneedtoresettheroutertoitsfactorydefault
settings,butwanttore-connectittothesameRaymarinecloudaccount.
1.Accesstherouter’swebinterface:
2.Select Restart&factoryresetfromthe Advancedsettingsmenu.
3.SelectResettofactorydefaults.
4.Select Reset.
Note:
IfyourrouterwaslinkedtoyourRaymarinecloudaccount,thenthenext
timeyouopenyourRaymarineapptherouterwillbeautomaticallyadded
backtoyouraccount.
Performingafactoryresetpriortodisposal/changeof
ownershiporaccount
Intheeventthatyouneedtodisposeofyourrouterorsellit,andyourrouter
hasbeenlinkedtoyourRaymarinecloudaccount,itmustfirstberemoved
fromyouraccountandthenrestoredtoitsfactorydefaultsettings.
Note:
IfyourrouterisnotconnectedtoyourRaymarinecloudaccountthensteps
1to4belowarenotnecessary.
